Belton Lake

Chisholm Trail

For the history buffs, the Chisholm Trail not only idolized the Texan cowboy but was how Texas pulled itself out of the economic depression after the Civil War. Trail hands on mustangs drove more than five million cattle and one million mustangs in what is known as the largest livestock migration in world history. You can learn more by exploring the Bell County Museum in downtown Belton.

Summer Fun & Lions Junction Family Water Park

Schoepf's BBQ

Award-winning BBQ, constant live music, and events drawing big names and fun community! Names like Whiskey Meyers and Eli Young Band have graced these walls! I don't have to tell you to try the ribs, but don't forget to try our nachos!

3 Texans Winery

A mom and her daughters (the three) started to share their love of wine back in 2009. You can explore the vineyard, enjoy the side patio with the view of the vineyard, and enjoy their new tasting room! Wine tastings start at 5 for $10 and they have specials that include homemade sangria, wine bellinis, and apple cider! Great girl's night!


Moose & Goose Winery

Come and enjoy their Texas fruit wines at one of their tastings or one of their food truck events on Saturdays! You can find live music, great food, and curious goats to keep you company! Fun, casual atmosphere!

The Gin at Nolan Creek

Southern hospitality and Texas comfort food in another fun, casual environment. They have a dog-friendly patio that has a view of Nolan Creek. They grill everything over a mesquite-grilled, open fire, and even offer a variety of gluten-free options.
